OTA days/ NFL

Just finished up with our OTA days, & things are looking pretty good. My high school jersey was retired last week in Florida(Lehigh senior high school), & Now I'm hanging out in LA with a few super stars. I'm looking forward to seeing the Magic win tomorrow. OTA days have been tough in Detroit so I'm sure it will pay off during the season.

  When you get ur high school jersey retired, you know ur hard work paid off. Nice Work. I dont know about thoes Magic though. The Black Mamba was lookin mighty vicious in game 1, but we'll see....

  Congrats on the retirement!!! Now lets get some wins for the Lions im tired of being ridiculed by my friends every year. I know yall working hard to do so and thats all I can ask for. We are 0-0 its a whole new year lets get it popping!!!!

  Phillip I am gonna miss you here in Tampa doing your thing,so take the show to Detroit and make everybody proud.Congrats are in order on having your jersey retired I know Lehigh High School is proud of you.

    Thanks so much, I miss playing football in Florida, & I miss my Tampa teammates along with the new friends(and my family) I made in Tampa. The NFL is a business sometimes things happen that players have minute control over.

  I loved playing football in Oakland but I really never had a problem with AL Davis but from what i heard he called all of they shots. From my second to third year i got rub the wrong way in OaKland by a few of their personal people (GM, a scout, one Coach). 'A lot' of these Front Office People and Coaches could get 'a lot' more out of players if they had a better Understanding of how to talk to players, It's not what you say it's how you say it because everything starts from the top of the organization. I hated losing, Rich Gannon got hurt, I was young, I really looked up to Charles Woodson at the time but we were not talking. The Showtime thing was just for fun, but when you have guys like Jerry rice and Tim brown telling me Showtime we need a play when the game is on the line. It went from being a joke to man this is crazy. It was a different vibe coming from Miami to Oakland because everybody wanted to win in Miami & al though the NFL is a business. So by me going threw those things I though any where else would be better than Oakland. Theirs 'A lot' of bad Coaching in the NFL, I though the NFL was supposed to be the best of the best Coaching wise Ha ha thats what I though. Anybody can call MAN to MAN or Cover 3 but everybody wont no how to coach it either. some coaches dont no how to put their players in position to win, I've seen 'a lot' in my 8 years
